Ward Fire Department would like to invite the public to join us for a "Push Back" ceremony on June 7, 2022 at 6:00 pm, at Ward Fire Department Central Station, 107 Moore Street, Ward AR.

The tradition dates back to the 1800's when fire companies used horse drawn equipment. A "Push Back" or "Push In" ceremony pays tribute to the time when firefighters had to push the pumpers back into the firehouse because horses will not walk backwards when they are under a load. 

Please join us as we celebrate this time-honored tradition, and help push our newest truck into its new home.
